Your habit tracker is saving the finish line

“Run 5k” is the destination. On a tired Tuesday it is not a start, so the tracker never gets opened.

The habit gets written down as the result. Run 5k. Finish a blog post. Study for an hour.

That line is already the whole goal. The day you are tired, you stop before you open the app.

A smaller start still loses if the phone is already in your hand. Compath parks the apps you choose until that start is done. Not for the rest of the day. When the shoes are by the door, or the headline is written, those apps come back.

The destination stays. Today’s start is at a difficulty you can keep.

If the destination is a 5k, today’s start is putting the shoes by the door. If the destination is one finished post, today’s start is writing the headline.

The load of that first step drops. A finished start stays on the log. The next day, including after a blank day, you come back to the same start.

This does not make a hard plan stick. It only makes the first step lighter.

Setup shows the destination and today’s start before you pay. After that, new users need Essential or above to keep the log and the home screen. Essential has no trial. The first time you subscribe, Pro monthly and yearly include one week free.
